Weekend Sports Anchor

I come to Bismarck from Apple Valley, Minnesota. I attended Minnesota State University Moorhead for three years and then finished my broadcast journalism degree at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. While at MSUM, I was the Sports Reporter for the campus television news show. At UWRF, I hosted a radio sports talk show and a live one-hour variety television show. I also called men's and women's basketball games over the radio for a season at UWRF and for a season at Concordia University-St. Paul. During the summer of 2005, I interned with the NBC affiliate in Minneapolis, MN.

Working as a sports anchor has been my dream ever since I was aware that there was such a job. I am very competitive and love taking on athletic challenges. In addition to being a sports fan, I am also interested in politics and a big movie buff.
