GREG PETERSON
Sports Director

I took over as KMOT-TV’s Sports Director in early December 2006. I attended Minot State University, and I’m a graduate of Harvey High School. In my time at HHS, I was a four year letterman in football, and the 2003-2004 North Dakota FCCLA State President.

Upon graduation, I enlisted with the 119th Fighter Wing of the North Dakota Air National Guard ("The Happy Hooligans") in Fargo. I served on the Mexican border in the summer of 2006 and in Maryland for seven months in 2005. My patriotism and love for my country are what keep me going with my military duties, and I attribute that to the country's great attitude and love for our troops.

I enjoy my time as Sports Director here at KMOT-TV. I feel that working as a radio DJ in my hometown for over three years propelled me into the world of broadcasting, and helped me achieve more than I thought possible. The memories and experiences I gained there are what made me realize my calling for broadcasting, and being a sports fanatic, it just made sense!
