Voters have approved a $3.8 million bond issue for Sargent Central school in the southeastern North Dakota town of Forman.
School secretary Tanya Howey says nearly 66 percent of the 780 people who voted favored the project. Sixty percent approval was needed.
The project involves a new sewer system, locker room and gymnasium improvements, a new interactive TV studio and an addition to house elementary classrooms.
The existing school was built in 1964. |
