| Residents in Burlington were expecting floods to cause damage to homes along the rivers, but as of Wednesday there have been no problems. The sandbags that were filled and placed by hundreds of volunteers last week remain in place in case things take a dramatic change. The water has been running through channels and dikes in the city without any problems. Residents are asked to keep their sandbags intact for a week or so. |
