Teachers are talking about geography in Langdon.

The North Dakota Geographic Alliance of Minot State University is conducting a geography workshop this week, with trips around the area.

Its title is "Small Town - A Cultural Rendezvous." Co-director Debbie Dawley is a teacher at Munich and Rock Lake schools. She says this week`s sessions include trips to wind farms, the Cavalier Air Station and Icelandic State Park. She says teachers will share their lesson plans.

The keynote speaker is scheduled to be Danny Edelson, a National Geographic vice president.
