Former Maddock mayor Kevin Winson has been sentenced to probation and, along with two others, has been ordered to repay nearly $36,000 in a case involving thefts from vacant farm buildings.
Judge Donovan Foughty sentenced Winson, 47, to up to three years probation and ordered restitution after Winson pleaded guilty to theft, trespassing and drug charges.
Benson County authorities said Winson was part of a group that stripped electrical wiring and plumbing fixtures from farm buildings, and that he conspired to make methamphetamine. He was arrested in December. |
