Minot Experiences Flash Flooding

| An active night on June 26th as tornado and severe thunderstorm warnings dominated the central part of the state now though the issue is rain and torrential downpour in some areas. During the evening hours Ward County and many surrounding counties were under a flash flood warning. This is video from around the Magic City. The 6th Street underpass was closed and the underpass at 16th Street southwest due to flooding. Other low lying areas throughout the city are also reported to be underwater. The Minot Police Department asks that you use caution when driving and don`t drive into anything you can`t see the bottom of. |
