Treating children with burns, spinal cord injuries and orthopedic conditions is costly.
And the bulk of the cost is often transporting them to get help.
Today, KFYR-TV and Paramount Builders presented Shriners Hospitals For Children with the money that was raised from the tours at the Charity Home in Bismarck.
The home raised $4,431.
Shriners says the money will fill a significant need to transport its patients to the hospitals.
"It will get the kids down to the hospitals so they can be treated and that`s always an on-going thing, you know, with the price of gasoline, the price of airline tickets, the price of everything," said Frank Eide, from Shriners.
The house is now up for sale.
