Family Fun at the Zoo

| From classic movies like The Jungle Book to recent ones like Madagascar animals can get a kids attention. A childs first experience at a zoo can be unforgettable for parents, especially if it`s also their first time. Travis and Amy Rapp are from Fairview, Montana, and took a trip to Minot, North Dakota this weekend. They brought along their three kids Brenna, 5, Alysa, 3, and Camden, 18 months. Besides Travis, none of them had ever been to a zoo before. "I think when we were planning it I was more excited than I think they we`re going to be," says Amy. Both Brenna and Alysa were excited to get a chance to look at the animals, some they have seen in movies. "I want to see the limers. They says "I like to move it move," says Alysa. Brenna was looking forward to seeing the lions, monkeys and giraffes. "They`re having a blast. They were pretty excited when we got into town last night," says Travis. The family spent the day walking around Roosevelt Park Zoo and see an array of animals. "Just fun for the kids and a good family thing," says Amy. |
