| Authorities are investigating the apparent accidental shooting of a Texas boy at a home in Sheyenne. Eddy County Sheriff Darrell Hager says two 13-year-old boys were home alone Friday when one found a loaded handgun in a closet. The sheriff says the victim was shot in the side. Authorities are still investigating how it happened. Hager says the victim underwent surgery in a Grand Forks hospital and is expected to recover. He says the boy was in Sheyenne visiting relatives. The identities of those involved have not been released. |
