| Postal Worker Pleads Guilty |

| A former postmaster in the Grenora post office has pleaded guilty to stealing more than $2,500. Elaine Esterby was accused of failing to report money made from retail postal sales and taking the money for personal use. Court documents say she took nearly $2,800 between November 2007 and August 2008. Esterby pleaded guilty to misappropriation of postal funds under an agreement with prosecutors. The plea deal calls for Esterby to be sentenced to probation and restitution, which she already has paid. Sentencing is set for Oct. 27 in Minot. |
