The Treasure Hunters Roadshow hit a bump in Bismarck.
Manager David Wright says he got a permit from the city to open Tuesday but did not realize he needed a transient merchant`s license from the state attorney general`s office as well.
The snafu forced the show to turn people away.
The attorney general`s office says the paperwork has been filed and the show could get its license soon.
It`s scheduled in Bismarck through Sunday.
Wright said the Treasure Hunters Roadshow is based in Athens, Ill., with regional teams that travel throughout the country buying for some 6,000 collectors.
He says that with gold and silver at 40-year highs, many people are bringing in old jewelry. |
