| Sidney, Montana is garnering national attention for their upcoming Wings of Freedom Air Show next month. Oshkosh, Wisconsin hosts the biggest air show in the world, but the show in Sidney is promising big name aviation stars like Canada`s elite Snow Birds. Thanks to Phil Petrick, owner and operator for Richland Aviation Company, we had the chance to get up in the air for A ride on a T228 A plane for a taste of next month`s big show. Petrick says that having the Snow Birds here has piqued the interest of other groups hoping to participate. "When the Snow Birds booked in here, then we had a lot of other acts that fly at Oshkosh and various big airshows around the country and they also want to perform because the snow birds are here. So it`s kind of a snowball effect if you will, to get the snow birds and then all these other acts start coming aboard, and everything starts to click in place," says Petrick. Sidney`s air show will take place from September 26 to September 27. |
