In at least one part of North Dakota, fall lasted for about two weeks. It`s already looking like winter in the state`s southwest corner.
Let`s take you to Hettinger where snow blanketed the city today. Residents say rain turned to snow at around eight this morning and it has been accumulating ever since.
It had reached three inches by early this afternoon. Farmers and producers say although they`d rather have rain, the snow is still welcome.
"I think it`s great moisture, it`s early enough in the year but I think it`s going to do us a lot of good, it`ll be gone by tomorrow hopefully, and we really need some moisture for pheasant season coming this weekend, it`s been dry, but it`s good to see this set up for moisture for the winter season," says Chuck Christman.
