North Dakota law enforcement is stepping up efforts to get drunk drivers off the road.
Saturday, those efforts included a sobriety check point.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol and the Morton County Sheriff`s Department conducted the checkpoint on Highway 49, approximately 2 miles south of Glen Ullin last night.
All north and south bound vehicles were stopped and checked.
40 cars were checked, of those, 1 was evaluated for impairment, none were arrested for D-U-I and 2 were cited for open containers of alcohol.
