| Area children got a Trick or Treat head start Friday in downtown Minot. Local businesses opened their doors to pre-school kids for the Treat Trail this morning. Children in costumes received treats as they visited downtown stores. Business owners say it`s also a way to advertise to parents. But in the end it`s the kids that are front and center. "It`s always fun," Margie Bolton. "To see them all dressed up. And the little ones, you never know how they`re going to respond. Some of them are just shocked and have no idea what`s going on. And other ones, they`re out having a good time, they just want candy." Business owners say nearly 400 children visited downtown Minot Friday. |
