| After several months of construction, the Bethel Assisted Living Center is nearing completion. The new facility is scheduled to open sometime in December. Crews have been busy finishing the apartment complexes, putting in appliances, tiling the ceilings, and laying down the carpet. Jim Yockim, the Director of the Bethel Lutheran Foundation, says the center is generating a lot of excitement among its new tenants. "We have a number of people who are anticipating living here when it opens," he says. "And they`ve been through the building, looked at the apartments, and they`re getting real excited...real anxious to get an actual date when they can start moving in. And we have other people in the community that are still thinking about coming. And so there is a lot of enthusiasm being built here."
