Construction on a new hotel in Minot is underway.
And it`s proof of the Magic City`s booming economy.
A new Mainstay Suites will provide 75 rooms designed for extended-stay guests visiting Minot.
The hotel will be owned and operated by Investments, Inc. - the same company that runs Sleep Inn.
Crews will work through the winter so the hotel can open its doors by July of next year.
"Our good friends from the North are a prime factor," Investments, Inc. President Vance Castleman says, "The Canadians, the oil traffic, the Air Force. There`s just a lot of exciting things going on right now in Minot. And the demand continues to grow."
When it opens, the Mainstay Suites will employ about 25 people.
