No one this winter should be in their vehicle without a winter survival kit.

When the weather outside gets rough, sometimes getting your car to move can be tough. It`s important for any driver to always have a winter survival kit in their car. The kit should contain items like a blanket, extra clothing, and a flash light with batteries.

"People who are born and raised in North Dakota know how bad the winters can be. You want to be safe and smart. Get a kit. The weather gets horrible in this area," says Allen McGeough, American Red Cross.
