Many people are traveling for the holiday season. The Minot International Airport has come up with a way to take care of the high demand of travelers
Northwest Airlines has offered three flights a day at the Airport for the past couple of months, but starting Friday, they will be offering a fourth flight. The airline will be bringing in a smaller plane as the fourth flight that seats around 50 passengers. Airport Director Andrew Solsvig says a large number of travelers is not only great for the holidays, but it is good for the future of the airport as well.
"This many travelers will give us the opportunity to take the records to other companies and show them were busy and hopefully bring them to the airport here in the future," says Solsvig.
The airport is working hard on getting a west bound flight added as well.
