Further Study To Be Done On Keystone

The State Department says it`s going to generate another Environmental Impact Statement on the Keystone XL Pipeline project, which President Obama had previously rejected. It will focus on the northern route from Canada through Nebraska. The southern portion has already been approved.

The pipeline would carry Bakken crude and tar sands from Alberta, Canada to refineries along the gulf coast.

The agency says it won`t finish the review for another nine months.
