Minot CVB Launches New Website

| 6/19/2012

Visitors to Minot have a redesigned digital tool to help them plan their trip. The Minot Convention and Visitors Bureau has launched a newly designed visitminot.org.

"When we decided to develop a new website, our ultimate goal was to create a site that would be technically functional and user practical," said Wendy Howe, Minot CVB executive director.

The bureau says the website has a new look and new features including:

My Map: This new, specially-customized function allows users to select items from the categories of Play, Sleep, Dine and Shop to create their own trip agenda. The new website automatically saves this information, thus allowing users to pull up the information when they return to the site.

New Mobile Site: Debuting with the new website is an all-new mobile site. Optimized for phone users, this site provides a rapid-fast, quick and easy way to locate venues and gather information.

Personalized Recommendations: The new website will offer content which can be specific to visitors` needs. This includes recommendations based on where visitors are traveling from, and/or where they currently are, in order to provide for a better Minot experience.

For more information, contact the Minot CVB at info@visitminot.org or call (701) 857-8206.

The new website can be viewed at visitminot.org.
