Governor Announces Higher Ed Board Appointments

Governor Jack Dalrymple announced two appointments to the State Board of Higher Education. Kathleen Neset will fill the unexpired term previously held by Claus Lemke of Grand Forks. Neset is a geologist and owner of Neset Consulting Service in Tioga. Neset has also served as a science teacher and business manager at Tioga Public Schools.

North Dakota State University student Sydney Hull has also been appointed to the board as the student representative. Hull is majoring in history and political science. Hull was elected as an Off-Campus Student Senator at NDSU.

The State Board of Higher Education consists of seven members appointed to four-year terms, one student appointed to a one-year term and one faculty advisor selected by the Council of College Faculties.
