North Dakota Dairy Princess Crowned

The 66th North Dakota State Dairy Princess was crowned today in Bismarck. Marissa Leier, 19, from Hague was crowned the winner. Leier has competed in dairy and livestock judging, she is currently a biology major at North Dakota State University.

The runner-up was Amy Noel, 19, from Linton.

Both Leier and Noel received scholarships from the Friends of Dairymen and the North Dakota Milk Producers. Noel was awarded the Midwest Dairy Association scholarship.

As State Dairy Princess, Leier will spend a year serving as a goodwill ambassador for North Dakota dairy farmers.
