Alexander Gorney | 6/22/2012

With the crowds in town for the McQuade tournament, plenty of people are taking advantage of that by having rummage sales. A few sales started last night around Bismarck and Mandan.

Some sellers say the tournament brings in a lot of big spenders.

"McQuades brings in a lot of out of town traffic and people are here to have fun they want to spend money, they`re shopping they are in the same mode. It`s always, it`s a really good, A lot of traffic we get, right now because were right off Washington. We get a lot of people just driving in, we didn`t even have an ad in the paper, we get the traffic for that. Right now because were right off Washington, we get a lot of people just driving down, we don`t even have an add in the paper," said seller Jan Nelson.

Many of the rummage sales will go on through Sunday.
