Woman Arrested After Shots Fired Last Night | Video

A 54 year old woman was taken into custody last night after firing a .357 revolver in her apartment. The incident happened around 5:00 pm at 1100 Jefferson Ave across from Sertoma Park.

Eight police officers responded and set up a perimeter around the building. A crowd of on-lookers were still watching the scene around 8:00.

Police say the woman was extremely intoxicated and was taken to a psych ward. Police recovered the firearm and have sent the case to the State Attorney`s office.
