Record Number of Permits Issued by NDHP

The North Dakota Highway Patrol is seeing a record number of requests for trucking permits. As of June 25, the highway patrol issued 194,544 permits at a total of $10.7 million, over 1,800 more permits than were issued in 2008.

The highway patrol says this averages to about 1,105 permits per day. Funds collected from the permit sales go to the North Dakota Highway Fund.
