Former Powers Lake Man Sentenced for Child Pornography

A former Powers Lake man was sentenced today on charges of child pornography. Damien Breding, 38, pleaded guilty to a charge of receipt of materials involving the sexual exploitation of minors in January. In 2002, Breding downloaded visual depictions of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct from the Internet.

Breding was sentenced to 27 months in prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release. Breding will also have to register as a sex offender.
