Reaction to Healthcare Ruling | Video

North Dakotans have varying reactions to the Supreme Court ruling.

"It seems unconstitutional to tell people they have to have health insurance provided by them and the penalty for not having it is taxation," said Brent Hebert.

"I just think that they jumped the gun on the issues that are in the bill and I think they should take more time to go through it," said Barb Werre.

"I would really hope that there would be someway that people could get the healthcare that they need and that if they were to make you purchase it, maybe it would be affordable," said Kelly Grogan.

"I`m hoping that our legislatives make the right decision for the people, get politics out of it and really just come back to the table both sides. A very thoughtful consideration of the different issues and do what`s best for the American people," said Judith Roberts.

The law`s main provisions go into effect in 2014.
