Reimbursement For Providers | Video

Jenny Castro | 6/29/2012

Along with yesterday`s health care decision, local providers are concerned about the difference in third party reimbursement from insurance companies.

Some providers may also have to prepare for an increase number of patients if more people have health insurance. Trinity Health is doesn`t expect to see much of a change in their incoming patient base. And they seek to provide the same level of service for their patients as they adjust to any reimbursement changes.

“We`re just very cautious about how that care can be provided and how we will be reimbursed by the insurance system,” said Vice President of Administration Randy Schwann.

Schwann adds that as Trinity Health understands the implication of the legislation, they will know more about how they will adjust as a care system.
