Safe Home For Kids Raffle | Video

Adults escaping abuse often end up leaving with their children and nothing else. Last year, the Abused Adult Resource Center safely sheltered 222 children. This week the shelter is kicking off its annual "Safe Home for Kids" raffle. The fundraiser features more than $2,900 worth of prizes and helps provide stable and temporary homes for families.

Tickets are two dollars. You can pick them up at the Abused Adult Resource Center or the Seeds of Hope Thrift and Gift Store. The drawing will take place August 31.
