Flood Recovery Grant for McHenry County

Residents in McHenry County will have more funds available to help rehabilitate homes damaged by flooding. The state awarded $252,213 as part of the Housing Rehabilitation and Citizen Retention Grant to assist residents with costs of rebuilding homes damaged by flooding last year.

"These grants help us address some of the most pressing needs in the wake of last year`s historic flooding," said Governor Jack Dalrymple. "The state will continue working with residents and local officials for long-term flood recovery."

Applications are available at www.sourisbasin.org.

According to the Governor`s office, the North Dakota Department of Emergency Services has awarded nearly $5.3 million in Housing Rehabilitation grants to date.
