Main Street in Mandan was buzzing with traffic this morning. Shoppers had their money handy as they strolled down Dykshoorn Park for Art in the Park. This year`s event attracted 142 crafters along with 27 food vendors. The event also features live music in the park throughout the day.

The Rodeo Days committee is expecting to draw around 25,000 people to the city both today and tomorrow.

"But I think that`s something on their agenda for the 3rd and 4th. And we`re hyped up more than ever this year because it`s our 40th anniversary," said Entertainment Chair Ann Keller.

"We try to come early. We try to come early the first morning, before it gets hot," said Mandan resident Peggy Hertz.

Art in the Park is open until 5:00p this evening. The Fourth of July parade will be held Wednesday on Main Street from 10:45 to 12:45.
