Medcenter One, Sanford Health Complete Merger

Medcener One will now be known as Sanford Medical Center Bismarck. Medcenter and Sanford have completed the final steps needed for their merger. Both boards voted unanimously to go ahead and North Dakota Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem gave the merger his approval today.

Medcenter One will transition to the Sanford Health name over the next year.

In a release, the hospitals say that all Medcenter One locations will continue to provide care. They also say that all staff, including President and CEO Dr. Craig Lambrecht and other leaders, will remain.
