If you`ve wanted to earn a bachelor`s degree but can`t afford to be a full time student any more, there`s another option.
By 2018, nearly two-thirds of the nation`s jobs will require some post-secondary education. That`s why Rasmussen College is expanding its online program and is geared towards helping professionals complete their bachelor`s degrees.
Rasmussen`s accelerated degree program is designed to help students save time and money.
Community Development Manager Amanda Bakkedahl explained, "We have a very nice easy transfer policy that goes with it. Great price point. We`re very competitive with the price point at $260 a credit and it`s a great match for anybody that is continuing their education or working."
You can take 6 week courses in Marketing, Human Resources, International Business, Business Systems Analysis, Finance, Entrepreneurship, and Criminal Justice.
She added, "A lot of it is done via web conference and there is also video conferencing with some of the classes depending on the assignments and interacting with classmates from all over the U.S. So it`s kind of a fun experience."
Many companies partner with Rasmussen and their employees can receive additional discounts.
Bakkedahl said, "We`re really trying to help promote the program and help employers encourage employees to go back to school or further their education if they`re looking for growth in their current position."
To get into the program you need to have an associates degree or 40 semester credit hours, but if you take 2 courses each term you can complete your degree in a year and a half.
Classes start August 13th and you need to enroll by August 8th. Log on to www.Rasmussen.edu for more information.
