This is Cash`s third time in Mandan. He became friends with Mandan resident Louie Zachmeier eight years ago when he surprised Zachmeier on his birthday with a musical performance.
On Friday night, Cash and his band practiced in a home near Mandan.
"I stay on tour, but I don`t do as many shows as I used to. I used to do 200 shows a year but now I only do about 75, maybe 100 at the most each year. Because I`m getting older now. I like to spend a lot of time at home," Cash said.
Tommy is the youngest member of the Cash family. His biggest hit single is "Six White Horses," a song he dedicated to John and Robert Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr.
