New Hotel Presents Checks | Video

Jenny Castro | 7/12/2012

Another hotel is open for business in Minot, which is good news for people going to the State Fair. Even better news, this hotel awarded two checks today as a part of their grand opening.

The Staybridge Suites gave $1,000 to the Minot High dance team and another $20,000 to the Hope Village for flood recovery efforts. The new hotel is located on South Broadway just off of Highway 83.

The grand opening event had several showroom suites available and a brunch to showcase the new features. Hotel Manager Dave Bussard believes these features allow for events and meetings for people both in Minot and from out of town.

"We have breakfast and socials. We have a nice fireplace and great room, we have a gathering table, theater room which is a den, a meeting room, also we have a pool and hot tub. We have a patio that is just elegant. It is a place you want to go and relax around the fireplace and if you want to come down and grill out some steaks you have that opportunity."

The Staybridge Suites opened for business in January, and since then they have been doing the final touches for their grand opening.
