Fun at the Fair | Video

I`m still fairly new to North Dakota and haven`t been able to experience the fair yet. So I set out to find the best things to do at the North Dakota State Fair.

"The rides and all that. It`s pretty entertaining to have fun like that," said fairgoers Tiffany Thrasher and Salem Towne.

"What`s your favorite ride?" I asked.

"The starship."

"Alright, well will you guys go on the starship with me?"

"Alright, she can"

That ride made me a little dizzy, hopefully the next one will be a little more calm. I looked around and found some kids who decided to let me join them on the bumper cars.

After the ride was over I said goodbye to my friends and set out to find new ones.

I asked Ayra Schock and her little brother Tyler what ride I should try next.

"You should try the Genesis," they said.

I headed over and got in line but after watching the riders before me I decided it wasn`t for me. So I tried the hoops instead.

It was a busy day and I didn`t get on all the rides, but it was a good first time at the fair.

The fair goes until the 28th A daily gate pass is just 8 dollars for adults 13 and older and four dollars for children 7 to 12.

Children six and under can go in free.
