St. Michael Man Pleads Guilty to Involuntary Manslaughter

A St. Michael man has pleaded guilty to a charge of involuntary manslaughter following a crash last September. Douglas Baker, was driving on BIA Road #6 when he hit another vehicle head-on on September 8, 2011. The driver of the other vehicle, Dana Grow of Grand Forks, was killed.

Baker`s blood alcohol concentration was .210.

The charge carries a maximum penalty of eight years imprisonment. Baker will be sentenced in October.
