Large Drug Bust in Minot

Minot police made a large drug and weapons bust early this morning. Shortly after 1:00 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Guest Lodge Hotel in Minot to assist with an eviction and to investigate possible drug activity.

Police ended up arresting three people with a combination of 14 drug and weapons charges. Melissa Jewett, 30, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia and Possession of Other Weapons. Christopher Gist, 34, was arrested on four drug related charges. Michelle Jewett, 28, was placed under arrest for eight drug related charges. All three were from Minot.

The drug charges range from Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia to Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver to Possession of Schedule I, II, & IV Drugs.

All of the individuals were transported to the Ward County Jail.
