Scam Alert

| 7/26/2012

Bismarck Police are warning against what may be a magazine selling scam. Officers are looking for two young men without proper documentation who claimed to be representing Bismarck State College.

They took checks from two elderly women yesterday on West Owens Avenue. The men are between 18 and 30 years old, wore dark clothing and one of them had a cast on his right arm.

Police say all salespeople must have a company I.D. and a Transient Merchant License from the city with their name on it.
