Felon Sentenced For Gun Charges

A Minot man will spend fifteen years in prison on Federal firearms charges. Arthur Smith, 32, pleaded guilty to illegally possessing firearms and ammunition back in April.

In December, authorities found him sleeping in a car with a hand gun and bullets in the front seat.

Smith had a prior felony conviction, which makes it illegal for him to possess a gun.
