The challenges in western North Dakota are stacking up faster than city and county leaders can count. That`s why the North Dakota Association of Oil and Gas Producing Counties started a Vision West Initiative to get feedback from the community.

The association just launched a website to allow anyone in all 19 oil producing counties to provide input. The website breaks down the counties, followed by discussion topics such as child care, emergency services and infrastructure.

"It`s a completely open process for community engagement. Members of the community are also welcome to second ideas much like a Facebook tool," said Deputy Executive Director Brady Pelton.
