More Information Released in Tioga Shooting | Video

The Williams County Sheriff`s Department has released more information about a shooting that took place Saturday night at the Wanzek crew camp near Tioga. Police responded to a shooting call at the crew camp shortly after 10:00 Saturday night.

Two men, Gerald Schild, 57, of Katy, Texas and Travis William Lomax, 38, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, were transported to the Tioga Medical Center for wounds.

Schild was pronounced dead at the hospital and Lomax was transported to Minot for further care.

Victor Scott Lamont, 24, of Lufkin Texas was arrested and charged with murder and criminal attempted murder.

The case is still under investigation and further charges may be filed.
