Teenagers to be Extradited After Crime Spree

Authorities are planning to extradite two teenagers they say escaped from the Youth Correctional Center in Mandan and went on a 24 hour crime spree. Emmons County Sheriff Gary Sanders says the 17 and 15 year old boys stole a car in Mandan and headed south.

They ran out of gas and later broke into another vehicle in Emmons County, stole guns and ran off. The sheriff says they later stole a pickup near Strasburg.

Authorities finally caught up to them in Pierre, South Dakota, and learned they had pawned one of the guns and stolen tools at a pawn shop.
