Fatal Truck/Train Crash Near Stanley

A semi truck driver is dead after a collision with a BNSF freight train this morning near Stanley.
The Mountrail County Sheriff`s Department says the crash happened at 7:30 near White Earth as the truck was attempting to cross the tracks.

The crash also caused 30 railroad cars to de-rail. No hazardous materials were released and the highway patrol is withholding the semi truck driver`s name until family is notified.
