West Nile Virus Cropping Up in ND

West Nile virus is turning into a big problem around the nation this summer and it`s cropping up in North Dakota too. The health department reports 14 confirmed cases in the last week. This compares to only four cases last year. Five of the victims have been hospitalized.

Health officials say that even though mosquito numbers are relatively low this year, those that are out there are still carrying the disease.
