Bowhunting Within City Limits | Video

This fall, Bismarck is allowing bow hunters to help control wild animal activity in some parts of the city. The city is handing out 50 hunting applications for both deer and wild turkey. The applications are available at the Bismarck Police Department, located at 700 South 9th Street.

Hunters will have to pay a five dollar application fee. Hunting areas will be open mainly in the southwest portion of Bismarck.

Archery season opens on Friday, August 31.
