Melon Recall | Video

| 8/20/2012

A recall of cantaloupes has now been extended to include Honeydew melons as well. Burch Farms of North Carolina is recalling every cantaloupe and Honeydew it has grown this year.

The Food and Drug Administration says it found Listeria on one of the company`s melons. The melons were sold to distributors in 18 states, and may have been resold in more states.

The cantaloupes have stickers that say either "Burch Farms" or "Cottle Strawberry." The Honeydew melons have no stickers. People who bought cantaloupes and Honeydews are advised to ask stores if they were from Burch Farms.

So far the FDA knows of no one getting sick.
