People Can Now Text Political Contributions

A major wireless provider announced today that they will allow their customers to make their political contributions by text message. Verizon Wireless announced today that they were authorized by the Federal Election Commission to launch a program that will let their customers use text messaging to contribute to the presidential campaigns of the two major political parties.

In a statement, the company says that they intend to implement thr new program carefully and in full compliance with the FEC`s recent direction.
